Business Participation
- Quinnipiac Career Connection
The Quinnipiac Chamber of Commerce hosts a website, Quinnipiac Career Connection that provides a matching service between educators and businesses. Businesses sign up offering different activities, from mentoring to teacher externships or school presentations; teachers are then able to search for the type of industry, type of activity and location of businesses to contact.
The Manufacturing Education Project, which includes the New Haven Manufacturer’s Association, the Greater New Haven, Greater Meriden and Middlesex County Chambers of Commerce, and CBIA, introduces teenagers to the world of manufacturing through factory tours and career day visits.
It is easy for businesses to participate with schools on a wide range of programs. Basic information on how to participate provides details on the roles and responsibilities of all partners.
